Learning Plan 5 - User Testing
- State the site's name and purpose.
I chose the myWalgreens sign-in page, which is the portal to making online orders at Walgreens.
- Does the site's home page validate?
The home page does not validate.
- Find any other page on the site. Does the second page validate?
The sign-in page also does not validate.
- Document how many validation errors and/or warnings may exist on each of the two pages you validate.
While the sign-in page had only 20 validation errors, the home page had a whopping 1,000+ validation errors.
- How would you rate the site's design, on a scale of 1(horrible) to 10 (fantastic)? Why?
I would rate the design as an 9/10, since it feels modern and up-to-date.
- How would you rate the site's usability on a scale of 1 (horrible) to 10 (fantastic)? Why?
I would rate the site's usability as a 6/10. Although I can get to what I need to on the site, a lot of the fields (such as the form inputs) feel rather large and clunky; and, as a result, harder to navigate.
- Does the site meet its purpose?
The site does meet it's purpose as an online shopping portal.
